Calgary weather: Hot, sunny weather in store for rest of the week

Summer heat has finally reached Calgary as the city prepares for two weeks of temperatures in the mid-to-high 20s.

Summer has finally come to Calgary.

Mentally prepare yourself for a long stretch of heat in the city as the city will see highs in the mid to high 20s for the next 14 days.

The showers and thunderstorms should mainly stay in central Alberta, along the Queen Elizabeth II highway and east this week. There is just a small chance of an isolated shower and thunderstorm in Calgary on Wednesday and Thursday.
