The temperature will continue to drop in Calgary this week. On Thursday, it will still be around the freezing mark by 8 a.m., and it will only get up to a high of 4 C in the afternoon. Gusts will likely max out around 70 kilometres per hour again in the city, and there will be a mix of sun and cloud in the morning with the clouds increasing in the afternoon. A big upper-level low will dig its heels into Saskatchewan Friday, which is expected to pump even colder air and a little snow into southern Alberta — Calgary included. Conditions will start to improve on Sunday, but it will remain cold until Monday. The good news is next week will be warm and bright.
