Country star Lee Brice will return to Canada for the first time in a few years with his Sunriser tour in early 2026. Early in his career, Brice says he felt the love of Canadian audiences. “Y’all wrapped your arms around me, and it was the greatest time I’d ever had. I thought, ‘How can these people be so rabid about their country music? They don’t even know me,’” Brice told CTV News. His setlist will include several of his No. 1 hits, including I Drive Your Truck, a song inspired by a father mourning the loss of his son in Afghanistan. In a unique twist, Brice spoke to CTV from his farm, where, years earlier, he had shot the video for the song. “Ten years later, I realized the farm that I bought was the farm that I shot that video on,” Brice said. While Brice occasionally records songs submitted by other songwriters, he’s especially proud of I Don’t Dance, which he wrote for his wife on their wedding day. “That was a special, special song, and to this day, it’s my favourite song to be able to play live because whether she can be there or not, I get to give her a piece of that little dream, you know, that I started back then,” Brice said. Brice will perform April 16 and 17 at the Grey Eagle Event Centre.
