Chase and Sydney Brown are entering training camp next week ready to not only help their team win but earn themselves a future NFL contract. The twins from London, Ont. are both set to play the final year on their rookie deals. “A lot of hard work has gone into these four years, and I’m living my dream, man, so I have no complaints,” said Chase, the starting running back for the Cincinnati Bengals. Sydney spent the past three seasons in Philadelphia, winning the Super Bowl. He was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in a draft-day pick swap. “I’m going to miss every part of Philly, but I think it just opens up a new opportunity for myself and I’m just kind of embracing it,” said Sydney, who will battle for a spot at safety or nickel corner in the Falcons defensive backfield. “I’m getting acclimated, understanding kind of where I fit, so it’s been great. It’s cool seeing the culture shift there and I’m glad that I’m a part of it. It’s for them to figure out (his position on the depth chart) so for me it’s just perform. I fully expect to go in there and start and have a dominant role in that defence but at the same time, I’m trying to get to know the guys, understand the locker room, understand the culture and just be a great teammate”. In three years in the league, Brown has 86 tackles, two interceptions (one for a touchdown) as well as a punt recovery TD. Chase Brown enters this season as the undisputed lead back for the Bengals in what is expected to be a powerful offence. “He is coming off a 2025 campaign with 1,016 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, and 69 receptions for 437 receiving yards.” “I’ve been blessed by opportunity and to be in a really good position,” said Chase. “I look forward to continuing to take full advantage of the opportunity and just continue to get better. I think that’s the most important thing is looking back on what I did last year, learning from it and being a better player this year.” The duo has spent the past three offseasons training in Atlanta, GA. “Atlanta is a great place to train as a player just because of everybody in the training community out there,” said Chase. “Pretty much the whole ecosystem of trainers that you can that you have access to when you when you do home base in Atlanta. I think that’s the best thing about it.” The pair recently took a break from training to fly home for a football camp in their hometown of London, Ont. It was the second time this summer they hosted a youth football session. “It’s always great to get back in the community and see the younger generation develop,” said Sydney. “Just kind of be around them and kind of see where the football direction is going in London. I think it’s cool as two London athletes that were in those kids, same shoes. It’s cool to kind of be the role model at this point and just kind of be here and show face”. When they were home, the London Minor Football Association (LMFA) surprised the twins by naming their playoff MVP trophy after the former LMFA Rams players.
