The London region is heading into a wintry few days as flurries, accumulating snow, and sharp temperature drops move through the region. “We have a little bit of light snowfall as we head through the evening. This is in advance of an Alberta Clipper that will be moving through southern Ontario on a Friday,” said CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison. “So snow in the forecast heading into Friday morning, snowfall amounts across the region will vary — in London, close to about five centimeters, north of London, upwards of eight centimeters." According to Atchison, the other component to this clipper will be a strong cold front that will bring a big drop in temperatures for the weekend with frigid wind chills once again from minus 25 to minus 30 at night. Temperatures drop down between about minus eight and a minus 10 flurries expected overnight and into tomorrow,” said Atchison.
