The London Knights closed out a five-game road trip with a 6-4 loss in Guelph Wednesday night. The Storm got out to an early lead in the first period and never gave it up. The Knights were able to get close late in the second period, when Braidy Wassilyn scored his second goal for his new team, bringing London within a goal of tying the game. Guelph scored a pair of late third period empty-net goals to seal the victory though, before a garbage time goal by London’s Max Crete. The Knights will be back on home ice for the first time in nearly two weeks Friday night, when they host the Kingston Frontenacs.
