London towing crackdown sees 11 trucks removed from service, hundreds of tickets issued

A London police tow truck crackdown took 11 vehicles off the road and saw hundreds of tickets issued.

London police say 11 tow trucks were removed from service following a two‑day enforcement blitz.

Police said officers, working with officials from the Ministry of Transportation, visited local towing businesses in March.

A total of 14 commercial vehicles were inspected.

Police said 310 provincial offence notices were issued.

Some of the charges included failing to keep records and failing to comply with regulations, police said.
