Mosquitos caught in a trap in Corunna have tested positive for West Nile Virus. According to Lambton Public Health, the mosquito was collected in a trap on August 27, and marks the first such positive test this year in Lambton County. Data from Public Health Ontario confirms that 21 cases of West Nile Virus have been detected in humans in the province so far in 2025.
