London Police Service says it continues to investigate a collision in south London Wednesday morning involving a pickup truck and pedestrian. It happened around 9 a.m. at Southdale Road East and Verulam Street. Southdale was closed to traffic in both directions for a time while officers combed over the scene. A white pickup truck could be seen in the intersection surrounded by several traffic cones. Police told CTV News the pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, but could not comment on specific circumstances of how the incident happened.
