Londoners looking to add a feline friend to their family are being invited to the Catty Shack for a special adoption event Saturday. Rescue Rendezvous runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the city’s cat adoption centre at 756 Windermere Rd., near Adelaide Street North. The family-friendly event features adoption discounts and an opportunity for residents to meet cats currently waiting for permanent homes. The Catty Shack houses healthy, friendly and vaccinated cats while they wait to be adopted. The centre is also open Wednesday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information about cat adoptions is available through the City of London.
