Police say a woman attacked by three rottweilers earlier this week at an east London park has now been released from hospital. She was attacked near Thompson Road Park Monday afternoon. Municipal officials have said the dogs were under a muzzle order at the time and they’ve since been seized. London police have indicated that if any charges will be laid in this case, they will come from by-law enforcement and will not be criminal in nature. “There are pending charges under the Dog Owners Liability Act, as well as four, which is a municipal by-law. I certainly can’t predict at this point in time what will happen with the animals, except to say that I know that they won’t be released back to the owner. So, at this point they don’t pose a risk to the public,” Municipal Compliance Director Amanda Pfeffer said Thursday.
