A shed full of straw is putting firefighters in Wellington and parts of Perth Counties through their paces. Crews were called to the large farm shed near Bride Line and 3rd Line, around 10 p.m. last night. It took several hours to get the fire under control and is taking much more effort to completely extinguish. The straw inside the shed continues to smoulder 20 hours after the fire began, sending crews from Harriston, Clifford, Palmerston, and Listowel back and forth to Palmerston and Listowel for water to douse hot spots.
