Weekend road and parking closures during the Montreal marathon

Drivers in Montreal should be aware that routes may be closed and parking unavailable throughout the city as a result of the marathon.

1, 5, and 10 km Saturday

On Saturday, the one-five and 10-k runs will take place around Parc Maisonneuve.

Drivers should avoid the following areas and park well outside of the race route between midnight and noon:

• Rosemont Boulevard on the north side of the park between 25th and 43rd avenues.
• Viau Street between Rosemont and Sherbrooke Street.
• Sherbrooke Street between Viau and Pie IX Boulevard.
• 43rd Avenue from Rosemont to Saint-Zotique Street.
• 44th Avenue between Rosemont and Beaubien Street.
• 41st Avenue between Beaubien and Saint-Zotique.

Half and full marathon Sunday

From Saturday at 10 p.m. to Sunday at 3 p.m., streets will be closed in the Ville-Marie, Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, and Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve boroughs.

Closures include the Victoria Bridge, Notre-Dame Street in the Old Port, and major sections of Saint-Laurent and Saint-Joseph boulevards.
