The Ottawa Charge have announced their 2026-27 season home opener. The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) team will be hosting the Toronto Sceptres at the Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, Dec. 6, with tickets going on sale as of 11 a.m. Monday. “The revenge tour starts here,” the team said in a social media post. The Charge made it to the PWHL Walter Cup Finals last season but fell three games to one to the Montreal Victoire. It was the Charge’s second straight year in the finals, having lost to the Minnesota Frost in the 2024-25 playoffs. The Canadian Tire Centre was announced as the new primary home of the Ottawa Charge in July, after three seasons at TD Place Arena. The PWHL’s complete regular-season schedule will be announced on Friday, but the Charge confirmed away games for the Boston Fleet’s home opener on Dec. 9, and for the PWHL Hamilton expansion team’s home opener on Dec. 13.
