The Saskatchewan RCMP is urging residents to remain vigilant against email scams, including one where fraudsters pretend to be the RCMP itself. An email scam making its way around the province tells the victim they’re the subject of a cybercrime investigation, and they’ll be arrested unless they contact the investigators at carcmpgrca@gmail.com. The RCMP say this is a scam, and recipients of the email should not reply. RCMP say if you receive a suspicious email, you should not click any links or send personal information or money.
