The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) is investigating the vandalism of a faith-based organization over the weekend. The Agudas Isreal Synagogue congregation had its Shabbat prayer service disrupted Saturday when someone egged the building and multiple vehicles. In a news release Wednesday, SPS says a man went to the building around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1 with a carton of eggs and was caught on camera throwing them at the building and vehicles. The suspect is a man with a dark-coloured beard and short brown hair. He was wearing a black tee shirt with the word ‘boo’ and a white ghost on it. He also had a black ball cap on. SPS is asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers. With files from Keenan Sorokan
