RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted in connection with an alleged assault and robbery in Carman, Man. Police say they received a report on July 20 at approximately 9:05 p.m. that a man had been assaulted, tied up, and had his truck stolen. Officers responding to a residential property in Carman learned that a woman living on the property approached the 59-year-old property owner and demanded the keys to his truck, RCMP said. When he refused, police say she assaulted him. The suspect then bound the man’s hands with cords and duct tape, took his keys, wallet, money and some tools, and drove off in his truck, according to RCMP. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries. RCMP say the truck has since been recovered, but the suspect has not been located. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Miranda Geras, 37, of Carman in connection with the incident. She is described as approximately 5-foot-2, with a medium build, brown hair and green eyes.
