A motorcyclist has died after a single-vehicle collision on Lake Shore Boulevard West early Sunday morning. Toronto police say officers responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle at around 5 a.m. in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and British Columbia Road. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. As a result, Lake Shore Boulevard West is closed between British Columbia Road and Ontario Drive. Drivers are being asked to use alternate routes and expect delays in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
