Two suspects have been arrested following a collision involving a suspect vehicle that was fleeing from a Scarborough parking lot where shots were fired on Thursday afternoon. Toronto police said they received a firearm discharge call at 3:08 p.m. in the area of Birchmount Road and Lawrence Avenue East. When officers arrived, they located evidence of shots being fired in a parking lot, police said. No one was injured in the incident. Shortly after fleeing in a vehicle, police said the suspects were involved in a collision two kilometres away, near Victoria Park Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East. Toronto paramedics said they assessed two people at the scene, and one person was transported to the hospital. The suspects then ran away on foot, but police said two were located later and taken into custody. One suspect remains outstanding, and police have not released a description.
