Three suspects were arrested and charged after an early morning shooting in Abbotsford Wednesday, according to local police. The Abbotsford Police Department says officers were called to an outdoor parking lot in the 2400 block of Clearbrook Road just after 6 a.m. for reports of shots being fired. “Upon arrival, officers confirmed that both the suspects and the victim had fled the scene,” the department wrote in a statement Friday. “Through investigative efforts over the following several hours, investigators identified and tracked the three suspects involved in the shooting to a residence in the 2300 block of Westerly Street.” Three men were arrested “without incident” with help from the heavily armed Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team. Police say the victim was not injured in the incident. Ryan Sawatsky, 33, Lukas Bezanson, 28, and Kyle Kornyk, 34, have each been charged with one count of reckless discharge of a firearm. Police asked anyone who was in the area of Clearbrook Road and Sunrise Crescent that morning and may have information or dash camera video to call the department at 604-859-5225.
