A truck carrying mac and cheese overturned on Montreal’s South Shore Friday morning, injuring the driver and spilling powdered cheese mix onto the highway. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at Route 132 in Brossard, near the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge. Quebec provincial police (SQ) told CTV News the driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The SQ is investigating to determine the circumstances that led to the crash and is working with Contrôle routier Québec (CRQ), which oversees the transport of people and goods on the province’s roads.
