An electric motorbike rider was critically injured in a crash in Delta Saturday, according to authorities. First responders were called to the 10400 block of Ladner Trunk Road around 5 p.m. for reports the motorbike had been struck by a vehicle, the Delta Police Department said in a statement. “The 26-year-old male driver of the electric motorbike was transported to local area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries,” the department said. “Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision.” Anyone with information or dash-cam video that could assist the investigation is urged to call 604-946-4411.
