The Morris and Beverly Baker Foundation has donated $500,000 to be put towards healthcare education at the new Fancsy Family Hospital. The money will go towards buying state-of-the-art equipment and technology to help progress advanced medical education and research. “We are incredibly proud to fund the cutting-edge equipment that will drive medical innovation here in Windsor-Essex,” said Beverly Baker. “To see this commitment recognized through The Morris and Beverly Baker Foundation Classroom is deeply meaningful to our family. We know this dedicated space will serve as a vibrant hub where current and future healthcare professionals can learn, collaborate, and master the advanced technologies that will shape the future of care at the Fancsy Family Hospital.” The foundation has contributed to healthcare, education, the arts, and community causes in Windsor-Essex for more than 30 years. A key educational space within the Education and Administration Centre will be named after the Morris and Beverly Baker Foundation Classroom to recognize its generosity. “Education is a critical piece of the new state-of-the-art acute care hospital,” said Cristina Naccarato, executive director of the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. “As we enter back-to-school season, we are excited to announce a gift that will ultimately benefit Windsor-Essex residents for decades to come. We are incredibly grateful to the Morris and Beverly Baker Foundation for prioritizing this vital community need.”
