A 45-year-old man from Orangedale, N.S., is facing firearms-related charges after allegedly confronting a truck driver while armed. The truck passed by a residence on Ashfield Road when the man allegedly approached, “unhappy with speeders on the road,” says Nova Scotia RCMP. Police responded to a report of the incident on Sept. 3 around 11:40 a.m. There were no reports of shots fired. RCMP, police dog services, an emergency response and crisis negotiation team responded along with a drone operator. Ashfield Road was temporarily closed. “Officers observed the man in the yard at home with a chainsaw,” reads an RCMP news release on Thursday. The crisis negotiator spoke with the man and he was arrested outside the home. Robert Anthony Isadore has been charged with: His first court appearance was set for Sept. 4, and he remains in custody pending further appearances.
