Windsor police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects following an assault and robbery police said left a man injured earlier this month. Officers responded shortly before 8 a.m. on Aug. after receiving a report of an assault that had occurred the previous evening in the 3900 block of Seminole Street. Investigators learned the victim was leaving a business when he was allegedly struck from behind by an unknown man, causing him to fall to the ground. Police say two male suspects then repeatedly punched and kicked the victim. During the assault, the victim struck his head on a curb and briefly lost consciousness. The suspects allegedly stole the victim’s cellphone before fleeing the area. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The first suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, standing about six feet tall, with brown hair and a moustache. Police say he was wearing a white T-shirt under a sweatshirt bearing the slogan “Detroit Vs. Everybody,” along with a Toronto Blue Jays cap. The second suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, also about six feet tall, with a shaved head, full beard and multiple tattoos on his arms. He was reportedly wearing a sleeveless shirt, shorts and a red-and-white baseball cap. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to contact investigators.
