RCMP in Selkirk have charged a man with second-degree murder following a shooting over the weekend. Officers were called to a report of a possible assault in Selkirk at a home on Dufferin Avenue for a report of a possible assault. When they arrived, several people were inside and outside the home, and a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound was found inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect was arrested at the scene without incident. A 30-year-old man from Selkirk has been charged with second-degree murder and was detained in custody. None of the charges have been proven in court. RCMP continue to investigate.
