The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) is investigating a weekend shooting in the city that left a man with serious injuries. Police were called to the 900 block of 13th Street West Sunday at about 4:20 p.m. They arrived to find a man suffering from serious injuries. Police determined the man was shot with what’s believed to be a shotgun. Police provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening. Investigators have identified two men in the area before the shooting. One was wearing dark clothing and riding a black 2019 Super Soco Cpx electric scooters. The second man was also dressed in dark clothing. Anyone with information on the shooting, or with video surveillance, is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. The investigation is ongoing.
