Winnipeg’s second Uniqlo location is set to open its doors next month. In a news release, the Japanese retailer announced Uniqlo St. Vital will officially open at 10 a.m. on Aug. 21. The new store will span 15,000 square feet of the St. Vital Centre and will feature the latest LifeWear apparel, seasonal collaborations and graphic t-shirt collections. The opening weekend will include community events, in-store offers and an exclusive gift with purchase. There will also be a taiko drumming performance and strawberry-matcha crullers and lattes for the first 300 customers in line. Uniqlo opened its first-ever Winnipeg location at CF Polo Park in May.
