A 16-year-old dirt bike rider has died following a collision with an SUV in Lucan Biddulph, according to OPP. Emergency crews, including Ornge air ambulance were called to Denfield Road between Airport Drive and Elginfield Road (Highway 7) at about 4:44 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of a serious crash involving an SUV and a dirt bike. Police said the dirt bike rider, a 16-year-old from Lucan Biddulph, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The teen was later pronounced dead in hospital. The driver of the SUV was also taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team remained at the scene Tuesday evening to assist with the investigation.
