One person has died and another is in serious condition after a collision in East Zorra-Tavistock. The crash happened around 5:10 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Cassel Sideroad and Highway 59. The driver of an SUV, a 50-year-old man from London, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck, a 34-year-old man, is in hospital with life-threatening injuries. “Highway 59 in East Zorra-Tavistock is closed between Cassel Sideroad and Oxford Road 8 due to a serious two-vehicle collision. A fluid spill has also been reported in the area,” the Ontario Provincial Police said in a media release earlier in the day.
