A note left on a bus in Guelph has led to an arrest. In August, the Guelph Police Service were told about the note that read “looking for a girlfriend” and included a phone number. An undercover investigation was launched. Police said an officer pretending to be a 13-year-old girl began texting with a man. The conversation turned sexual and, eventually, plans were made to meet up. On Thursday morning, a 34-year-old man was arrested near the pre-arranged location. He was charged with luring a child under 16 and disobeying a court order.
