O-Train service to the Ottawa airport has been suspended for the second time in two days. According to an an alert posted shortly before 3:25 p.m. Saturday, OC Transpo says Line 4 has been “temporarily suspended.” It did not provide a reason for the shutdown. The Ottawa Airport Authority says in a post on X the service is unavailable due to a “technical issue.” “There has been an increase in Route 105 bus service. Please allow extra travel time and check OC Transpo for updates,” the airport authority says. The shutdown comes after the line was closed for over eight hours due to a “technical issue with a train” on Friday. Line 4 runs between South Keys and Airport stations, with a stop at Uplands near the Cohere Centre. The line has experienced several shutdowns since it opened in January 2025, including for mechanical issues and staff shortages. CTV News Ottawa has reached out to OC Transpo for more details.
