Championship baseball is coming to Ottawa this weekend. The Ottawa Titans nabbed a win in Game Two of their Frontier League Championship Series on Wednesday, defeating the Evansville Otters 11-1 in Indiana, evening the series at one game apiece. Caleb Burr scored a grand slam in the fifth inning to propel the Titans to victory. The Otters beat the Titans 6-0 in Game One on Tuesday. The best-of-five series moves to Ottawa this weekend, with Game Three at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Ottawa Stadium. Game Four will also be played in Ottawa and is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday. If necessary, Game Five will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday in Ottawa. This is the Titans’ first championship series. They were undefeated in the playoffs until Tuesday night’s loss to the Otters. The team says tickets for Friday night’s game are “almost sold out.” Last week, nearly 8,000 fans packed the Ottawa Stadium to see the Titans advance to the championship series.
