Toronto police are looking for a man accused of pushing one person and making anti-immigrant comments during an unprovoked interaction earlier this month. Police said they got a call at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 for an assault in the area of Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue East. The suspect approached a person draped in the Palestinian flag standing at the intersection and allegedly pushed them. He then hurled anti-immigrant comments allegedly before walking away. In a news release on Saturday, police shared an image of the suspect, who is believed to be between 55 and 60 years old, six feet tall with a heavy build and clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt with “JUST DO IT” writing, green shorts, a beige baseball hat, and grey running shoes.
