A house fire in Lakeshore has caused thousands of dollars in damage. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday, August 14, Lakeshore firefighters from Stations 1 and 3 responded to a call for a structure fire in the 700 block of Old Tecumseh Road. The fire was brought under control by Saturday morning. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported. The fire was deemed to be accidental and the cause is not known at this time. Property damaged is estimated to be $600,000.
