The Windsor Police Service has charged eight suspects, five of which are youths, in a weapons incident. Just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, police were called with a report of a person with a weapon near Wyandotte Street West and Bruce Avenue. Police said they found the suspect vehicle and stopped it near Bruce Avenue and Caroline Street. Seven people inside the vehicle were arrested without incident and several cans of bear spray and a BB gun were reportedly seized. An eighth suspect, who the WPS said was wearing a black balaclava, ran from the vehicle, but was found and captured by K9 officer Timber. The 15-year-old sustained minor injuries. All five youths are facing possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace charges. Additional charges laid were:
