Calgary police say a pedestrian hit by a school bus in Somerset last week has died. The collision occurred near the intersection of 162 Avenue and Sixth Street S.W. at about 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17. The pedestrian, a woman in hers 60s, was taken to hospital as a precaution with what were initially believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Police said Friday her condition had deteriorated. Then, on Monday, police issued an update saying the woman had succumbed to her injuries. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
