Two Montreal neighbourhoods are encouraging the community to get outside and embrace the cold on the weekend. Dorval winter festival The Dorval Winter Festival is happening until Feb. 8, with events held in two of its community centres (Sarto-Desnoyers, and Surrey Aquatic Community Centres). On Sunday, you can mark the start of the Vietnamese New Year, at the Tết Festival. Music and dance performances, martial arts, and much more to enjoy at the Old Port Grand Quay. Love market If you want to get some shopping done ahead of Valentine’s Day, head to the Verdun Auditorium for Marché de l’amour sous toutes ses formes. There will be 50 vendors selling their unique creations all weekend long.
