Quebec election campaign special coverage

Quebec Election 2026 kicked off on Aug. 27, and CTV News Montreal began with special coverage following the leaders as they hit the campaign trail.

As the Quebec election campaign kicks off today, CTV News Montreal streamed a live digital election special from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The special coverage featured Mutsumi Takahashi, with reporters Angela Mackenzie and Matt Gilmour, along with political analysts David Heurtel and Sebastien Dallaire.
