Ontario Provincial Police say a stretch of Highway 7 near Carleton Place has been closed in both directions following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon. Police say the highway is closed between Ramsay Concession Road 5A and Townline Road West. The crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. One person has been taken to hospital, but their injuries are unknown at this time, OPP say. Motorists are being asked to plan alternate routes.
