Paramedics were called to the scene of an accident involving a child and a car in the Limoilou neighbourhood of Quebec City late Tuesday morning. The Quebec City Police Department (SPVQ) reported that the child had been seriously injured and transported to a hospital, but that his life was not in danger. The child suffered head injuries and was conscious when police arrived at the scene of the collision. The driver of the vehicle was also transported to a hospital to be treated for shock. Investigators and the SPVQ’s Forensic Identification Unit are on the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident.
