A fourth man has been arrested in the February 2025 murder of a man in Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Montreal police say Ricardo Mathieu François, 21, was arrested Tuesday in a detention centre in Ontario. He appeared via videoconference at the Montreal courthouse to face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. This is the fourth person to face charges in relation to the murder. Montrealers Dariush Kabirinaeini, 22, Bryan Moreau-Gignac, 26, and Samuel Jourdain Cody, 35, of Quebec City, were arrested in April 2025 and are also facing the same charges in the slaying. The victim, Jean-David Isme, 55, was shot and wounded on Saint-Jacques Street and rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
