Quebec provincial police have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with a death Sunday night in Huntingdon in the Montérégie region. The victim is 54-year-old Adam Aitkins. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) confirm they are treating the death as a homicide and have made an arrest. The suspect, who is from the area, is set to appear at the Valleyfield courthouse to face charges. The SQ said the prosecutor will determine what charges the suspect is facing. Police were called at 9 p.m. about a dispute between two people on Wellington Street. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man lying on the ground. The victim was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
