St. John’s rockers Nick Earle & The Reckless Hearts are making noise across the Maritimes, with a stop in Halifax at the Seahorse Tavern Friday night as part of the Halifax Urban Folk Festival. The band, known for their powerful live shows and dynamic sound, is touring in support of their latest album . “I always love records that ebb and flow a little bit. And give the listener a different experience every time you listen to it. So we tried to go for that,” said Earle in an interview with CTV Atlantic’s Katie Kelly. Fans heading to the Halifax show Friday can expect an unapologetic rock and roll experience. “Hair flips, loud guitar solos and a whole bunch of rock and roll,” said Earle. “We’re all about fun. You can still play emotional tunes, but still have a great time listening to them. We’re there to have fun and have a good time and make sure everyone there is having a good time with us.” The tour continues Saturday with a performance at The Cap in Fredericton.
