An investigation will be held after an inmate died at Saskatoon’s Regional Psychiatric Centre. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) says 43-year-old Kenneth Butler died Aug. 31. A cause of death has not been revealed. Butler’s next of kin have been notified. He was serving a life sentence, which began Apr. 8, 2009. CSC will review the circumstances, as it does with all in-custody deaths. Local police and the coroner have also been notified, as required under CSC policy.
