Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg is closed to traffic until further notice. The Municipality of Chatham-Kent says this is because of a mechanical issue. It is still open to pedestrians. It says the bridge is not working for marine traffic that needs the bridge to open. Staff are working to dix it. Further information will be offered as it becomes available. Drivers are asked to follow the posted detour, using Base Line Road, Old Glass Road, Mason Street, and Arnold Street. Allow extra travel time.
